The Professional Interest in Social Media (PrISM) Group is a new interest group that began at the UT Health Science Center San Antonio in April 2011.
Our goal is to provide a space for those currently using (or interested in) social media professionally at the Health Science Center, and throughout the San Antonio biomedical and higher-education communities, to share ideas, concerns, issues, best practices, brainstorms and more. We intend to examine and discuss the use of social media in health sciences education, clinical settings, research endeavors, community outreach, and other areas that impact our work toward improving the health of South Texas.
