This Thursday at the Society of General Internal Medicine Annual Meeting in Phoenix, a very interesting panel of colleagues will be presenting a workshop entitled “Twitter to Tenure: Using Social Media to Enhance Your Career.” The panelists include:

- Vinny Arora, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine, University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine

You can see a description and outline of their workshop on pages 12-14 of this schedule. Even if you won’t be in Phoenix, you may be able to gather “notes” from the workshop by following the conference hashtag (#sgim2011) around the time of their workshop (4:00pm-5:30pm MST on Thursday, which is 6:00pm-7:30pm in San Antonio).
